How does car rental with Bari Noleggi work?

Our rental services with our company are simplified to ensure you a practical, convenient, and stress-free experience. To achieve this, we offer constant phone assistance for any doubts or necessary information.

Our car rental proposal in Bari offers two options:

Pay Online, with the total balance settled directly at the time of booking with a simultaneous 10% discount.
"30 Hours | 70 Later" option, requiring a 30% confirmatory deposit at booking, with the remaining 70% balance at the counter.
Additionally, you can choose the insurance package that suits you best, deciding which coverage you need and which deductibles and deposits to pay.

To make your car rental smooth, we guarantee Free Shuttle Service to/from Bari Airport. This way, you can quickly and comfortably reach our office or your flight at the airport.

In any case, one of our Managers will contact you by phone a few days before the start of your rental to finalize the last operational details (shuttle, arrival times, answering any doubts).

Lastly, remember that you can take advantage of the Fast Delivery option at no extra cost, allowing you to complete your online booking via a link you'll receive by email. This way, upon your arrival, you'll find the car rental contract ready, avoiding tedious waits at the counter.

Can I rent a car without a credit card?

Yes! This is one of the exclusive services offered by Bari Noleggi. You won't find any other reputable and professional rental companies that allow car rental in Bari without a credit card at the time of booking. With us, you can pay for your car rental in cash, by bank transfer, or with a debit card.

Note: For residents in Puglia, car rental is exclusively available with a credit card and is subject to authorization from Bari Noleggi management.

Can I pay with a Debit Card/Bancomat?

Yes. You can make payment for your rental car using debit cards (typically ATM cards, as well as prepaid cards).

With these types of cards, you can settle both the deposit and the rental cost. Regarding the deposit, it's processed as a "purchase" for the customer, effectively debited from the account – followed by our reimbursement via bank transfer, executed within one business day upon the completion of the rental.

The deposit can also be paid using PayPal* and bank transfer*. The refund of the deposit by Bari Rentals will follow the same payment method chosen by the Customer.

*For these payment methods, prior authorization from the administration is required.

How does the Free Shuttle Service work?

In order to reach our office for the pickup of your rental car, we offer Free Shuttle Service to/from Bari Airport. The service must be booked at least 24 hours in advance of the start of the rental.

You will need to provide us with your flight number and the number of passengers to be transported, in order to use the most suitable vehicle. This service is also available for departures.

How does the additional insurance coverage work?

During the booking phase, you'll have the opportunity to select the insurance package that best suits your needs.

We offer you the choice between:

Basic Package, which includes damage, collision, theft, and fire deductibles of €1,500.00 each, with a corresponding security deposit of €1,500.00 to be paid upon car pickup. This package is already included in the base cost of the vehicles.

Gold Package, which reduces the damage, collision, theft, and fire deductibles to €500.00 each, with a corresponding security deposit of €500.00 to be paid upon car pickup. This package incurs an additional daily cost of €20.00.

Premium Package, which reduces the damage, collision, theft, and fire deductibles to €0.00 each, with a corresponding security deposit of €0.00 to be paid upon car pickup. This package incurs an additional daily cost of €30.00.

What happens if I receive a fine?

In the event that Bari Noleggi receives a fine or violation after the rental period from the customer, one of our designated representatives, in full compliance with the privacy rules, will identify the driver at the time of the violation and proceed with the new notification of the violation, directly providing the driver's information to the authorities.

In some cases, it may be necessary to charge the costs of the new notification and/or administrative expenses to the driver of the vehicle.

Who pays for the tolls during the rental?

All costs related to highway, airport, and railway tolls, as well as paid parking fees (both public and private), are the direct responsibility of the driver.

If a toll is left unpaid and a reminder is issued by the managing entity, our staff will provide a new notification to the driver of the vehicle regarding the unpaid toll.

Will I be refunded if I return the car early?

No. There are no refunds for unused hours/days of the rental if the vehicle is returned to Bari Noleggi earlier than the scheduled end date of the rental.

What happens if I return the car late?

We have always guaranteed maximum flexibility to our customers! Therefore, aware of the difficulties related to traffic and other contingencies, our rental company allows customers a tolerance/delay of 59 minutes from the scheduled and communicated return time at the time of booking. After 60 minutes, an additional day will be charged for the rental cost.

I forgot something in the car, what can i do?

The personnel at Bari Noleggi responsible for checking the vehicles at the time of return by the customer always performs a thorough inspection of the general and specific conditions of the vehicle.

If any items or belongings are found inside the car, they will be kept at our office until the customer claims them. If you believe you have forgotten something inside the car after the end of the rental, you can write an email to our Customer Service ( describing the forgotten item adequately.

If the item has been found inside the vehicle you rented, we will provide you with the required procedure for returning it and the cost borne by the recipient of the shipment.

How can I cancel a reservation?

To cancel a reservation, it is necessary to contact our Customer Service by sending an email to and clearly specifying in the body of the message the name, surname, and email address of the person who made the reservation.

One of our Managers will provide you with the assistance you need.

Regarding refunds, Bari Rentals guarantees the return of the amount paid by the Customer as a deposit if the cancellation occurs within and not beyond 72 hours before the start of the rental (3 days). Therefore, for all cancellation requests received beyond this threshold, and thus within the 3 days preceding the start of the rental, no refund is provided.

How long does it take for a pre-authorization to be released?

Pre-authorizations are released within one business week after the end of the rental. However, the communication timing between banking intermediaries can take up to 30 days for the reversal to appear in your account.

How are the car conditions recorded at the beginning of the rental?

To ensure 100% transparency and to guarantee not only our vehicles but above all our customers, we personally take geolocated photographs (including date and location) of the car from all angles so that the vehicle's conditions can be objectively determined.

The personnel at Bari Noleggi in charge of this specific service will transmit the photos via email or a messaging app to the customer according to their preferences.

How does the Sleep and Go agreement work?

Bari Noleggi offers all its customers a special agreement with Bari Airport B&B. If you need to stay overnight in Bari, just a short distance from the airport, you can take advantage of discounted rates and a special 10% discount on the total cost of your stay at our Bed & Breakfast.
